Habit Stacker was built with a simple principle: your data is yours. We don't want it, we don't need it, and we've designed the app so we never touch it.
None. Habit Stacker collects zero personal data. Specifically:
All data you create in Habit Stacker — your stacks, habits, completion records, streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
Habit Stacker offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any financial data. All subscription management is handled by Apple.
Habit Stacker's home screen widgets access your habit data through a local App Group container shared between the app and the widget extension. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted externally.
If you enable reminders, Habit Stacker schedules local notifications through Apple's notification system. These notifications are processed entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services or external servers.
Habit Stacker uses zero third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's own system frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, WidgetKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications). There are no analytics providers, no ad networks, no tracking pixels, and no external APIs.
Habit Stacker does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Premium users can export their data as a CSV file. This export is generated locally on your device and shared through Apple's standard share sheet. We never see or process this data.
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page. Given our commitment to collecting no data, we don't anticipate significant changes.
